Description: Jorgen Jensen (1895-1966) , Denmark, was the second son of Georg Jensen and a well trained and talented silversmith in his own right. This pendant and bracelet set are done in pewter bezel set with marquise shaped glowing green stones and are Jensen's no. 230 and 230A. The pendant measures 1 5/8 inches by 5/8 inches and has a 30 mm by 10 mm stone. It's sturdy pewter chain is 26 inches long. The bracelet is almost 8 inches long including the spring clasp. Each of the six panels is 1 inch by 3/8 inches and each houses a 19 mm by 6 mm stone. The reverse side of the bracelet has darkened somewhat. The stones are glass and have a glowing quality. Lovely set by a famous Danish modernist designer. This was a tough one to photograph and the set is so much prettier in person.
