Description: World War II Era tent pole and stakes kit, available in drab green or camouflage. Some of the camouflage units are stamped with what looks like a Swiss Cross, but they aren’t all stamped. Each kit contains one pouch in your choice of pattern, three wood and metal pole segments that stack to make 1 pole, and 3 metal tent stakes. These likely were used with half shelters that would have been carried, and combined between two different soldiers as it seems you would need two kits per with each complete shelter. The metal stakes are 9 1/2” and the three wooden pole pieces each measure at 16”. The pouch is 17” and has leather straps and two button closures. These kits are a part of history and have the true grime and grit to prove it with a patina that can only be achieved with age and use...they have the fragrance of long stored items.
