Description: Mid-century vintage Cathrineholm Norway large, 11-inch-diameter enamelware Lotus pattern bowl in white with cobalt blue leaves. Manufactured by the Norwegian manufacturer Cathrineholm, in operation from 1907-1970. The popular Lotus line was designed by Grete Prytz Kittelsen and produced during the early to mid-1960s. The bowl is decorated with cobalt blue stylized lotus leaves on white enameled steel. There are no major flaws--there is some scuffing to about one third of the inner circumference bottom of bowl with a few minor scratches to about one eighth of the mid circumference of the inside, and a couple of sesame-seed-sized nicks to the bowl lip--see photos. The bowl is in excellent pre-owned, vintage condition, commensurate with its age, use and material. Beautiful. Approximate measurements: 11.25" D x 5.5"H
