Description: This is an old French sheet with very elaborate cut thread work as well as the traditional top ladder work border. There is a 5 cm wide band of very intricate work right across the top of the sheet and down at the sides for another 45 cm, with some more ladder work underneath. Although the hem is machine stitched, all the cutwork is made by hand, you can see the tiny stitches. It’s in excellent condition and measures approximately 207 cm cross and 281 cm long.
