Very good vintage condition overall - the buttons are fairly loose and will need to be reinforced; the inside coat lining has come loose around the bottom seam and will need to be mended; otherwise no holes or major issues to note! The specific Bullock's brand label used in this coat is likely from the 1940's or 1950's. The inside COAT AND SUIT INDUSTRY Union Label tag was used from approx. 1938 - 1964. Based on that information, as well as the vintage Defiance brand buttons, this coat likely dates to the mid-1940's or early 1950's. No size tag, but based on the measurements this should fit a modern size small or medium. Black velvet. 3-button front closure. Puffed shoulders. Long sleeves. Lined.
