Description: A spiffy matched set of hanging lacquered brass lamps/lanterns in great condition! NOTE: The bail on the bottom of the burner is probably intended for use with a tether to prevent swinging; these lamps DO NOT sit flat due to the bails (the frame bottom sits flat, but the burner does not, see pic) One lamp has been lightly used, probably just once, the other appears to have never been used Both fonts are very clean, one has a small shoulder dent (pictured) There is a little oxidation of the finish on both lamps, as pictured (see top view pic) Each lamp has a Gaudard (France) burner with wick as well as a tubular (not tapered) glass chimney Total height, including the hanging bail, is 10 1/4" The canopies are 8 3/8" in diameter ..... office-shelf TM08292024
