Description: Vintage NOS/NIP Oversized Rear Axle Nuts for New Departure Model C and D hubs. Listing is for 2 nuts. New Departure hubs used a 3/8"x24 axle, but the diameter (9.46mm) is larger than a standard 9.29mm diameter 3/8" axle and these nuts are critical for the in-house made axles and nuts that New Departure made. 11/16" outer flat measurement. These were from a shelf of an old New Departure distributor and are unmarked in the original bag. I can't say for certain that they are New Departure, perhaps Crown. I can say that they fit perfectly, with a nice purchase, on New Departure model C and D hubs, have nice chroming and are very old stock.
