Description: Rare Red Top Stamp Quaker State HDX Series 3 DS Motor Oil Can - Tin Type Late 1960's This item is an Original Tin Type Quaker State Motor Oil Can that was likely manufactured in the Late 1960's or Early 1970's. This SAE-30 Weight Oil Grade is stamped on the top End in Red Ink, "HDX Series 4 DS" We are not sure how long Quaker State used this type of Stamp to Identify this Grade of Motor Oil, however, there seems to be precious few on the market and it is considered somewhat Rare. No Rust can be seen, however, a couple of small dents can be seen along the bottom section and we believe this may have occurred when the can was originally opened. The Can was opened along the bottom side using a medium sized opener. While opening the Can it was likely handled a bit rough and this caused the small dents. It is Remarkable that this Can was saved and was obviously never exposed to the outside air and this preserved the Can very well.
