Description: Rare Ornate Antique Swiss 800 Silver Open Face Pocket Watch - Stopwatch Function This stunning pocket watch was hand made in Switzerland around 1900 and features a beautiful 800 Silver case with a white dial, Roman numerals, a small second at the 6 position, a minute counter at the 12 position, and stylish gold / black hands. The piece is in very good antique condition, winds up and works nicely. No damage to dial or glass. Some scratches from opening the watch and normal wear according to age. The stopwatch function is activated by a button on top of the winding crown and works off and on since the gears sometimes do not align 100%. This could probably be fixed with a simple adjustment. This beautiful and rare piece measures 2" in diameter (case only) and weighs an impressive 89.8 grams. Fully hallmarked on inner and outer lid and carrying matching serial numbers.
