Description: I watched several videos of this model clock being taken apart but I could not see this particular piece. It is heavy cast iron with screws and washers in each corner. There are 4 more holes in a line through the thick square block on the top, so the clock works don’t appear to be in this part. There is some kind of putty in 3 of the holes. The piece seems to be a base plate somewhere on the clock. It is 4 ¼” wide, 3 ¾” high, 3 ¼” deep from the washers to the end of the block, and weighs almost 2 lbs.
