They effectively clamp down parallel to your t-track and flush against your fence to prevent side play. Featuring a universal profile, it converts from an inboard to an outboard position when desired, and can be set to slide in either direction from both of those positions (depending on your feed direction requirements). This enables you to rip perfectly uniform and repeatable cuts consistently.
