Description: We are offering an old shield that comes from the Cordillera mountain range in Northern Luzon, Philippines. We believe the shield originated from the Kalinga tribe, although similar shaped shields were attributed to neighboring tribes. The shield is in very good condition. Over 95% of the rattan weaving is present. No major wood loss. Color is great. The weight is slightly over 3 lbs. The shield is warped in a way that it doesn’t lie exactly flat on a level surface ( see last 2 photos). Hanging or propped up against a wall it looks fine. View the photos closely for the condition and dimensions. No scabbard. Contact me if you have any questions or concerns. 46.12.7 7
