Isles Class Trawler 1:300 for Coastal games inc Cruel Seas

Description: Isles class Trawler (Resin)Note: This is a complete redesign and upgrade on my basic 3D Isle Class Trawler (see other items for sale).It is designed as a wargame model for any 1:300 WW2 coastal game including Warlord games Cruel Seas. Details of the class can be found on wikipedia.These were large craft at 164 feet compared to the Vosper MTBs at 70 feet. I have designed and printed this model myself at 1:300 scale.Unpainted 3D RESIN printed model of an British Isle Class Trawler during World War 2. Please see my other items for sale for more models.ModelThe model supplied will be the unpainted, in grey resin and is hollow. It is 16.7 cm long.It comes on a support raft that needs to be carefully cut away with flat nose snips or similar.The mast comes as a separate piece and needs to be glued in place. I have now mdelled the gantry in front of the bridge into the ship.The figures are 6.5 mm tall ie a 6 foot tall man in 1:300ScaleThe models are scaled at 1:300. StrengthThe models are made from resin and will break if mishandled. The finer detail such as the mast are particularly vulnerable and care will need to be taken when storing.I will combine the postage.What you get• One unpainted resin model of the ship in questionImportant please read carefully before buying.Print on demandI only have a small stock and will need to print more out if they sell quickly. This might mean a small delay in sending your ship I will contact you if this is the case.QualityThis is a 3D printed model in resin. I have tried to show the quality of the model in the pictures.If you have any doubts about the quality please don't buy.StrengthThe model is made from resin and will break if mishandled. The finer detail such as the mast are particularly vulnerable and care will need to be taken when storing.Painting The model needs to be carefully washed in soapy water before undercoating (I use a few coats of Vallejo air grey primer). I recommend using a thin undercoat so as to not fill in the details. You will need to apply two or three coats rather than one thick one. Once that is done I find acrylic paint (I use Vallejo paints) takes very well.
