This dual 40 carb kit fits 1971-79 Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Thing, Type 2 Bus with upright style Type 1 engine, and dune buggies with dual port engines. Requires updated style fan shroud or slight fitment of OEM fan shroud around the intake manifold. This is a complete bolt on kit for all dual port VW Type 1 engines. We recommend dual 40 HPMX/IDF kits for 1776-2110cc sized engines. These 40 HPMX carburetors include the following jets: 52 idle, 130 main, 170 air corrector, 50 pump, 550 ex pump, F11 emulsion tubes, 28mm venturis.
