Description: Dylan Thomas' New Poems (Norfolk: The Poets of the Year New Directions, 1943) This one is a bit of a head-scratcher. Is that Thomas' signature? It is signed on the front of the original purple wrappers (2500 were printed, 1500 put into wrappers and the remaining 1000 in purple boards). The signature is in pencil. Because his signature went through changes, neither I nor a consultant can say for sure. What do you think? From The Poets of the Year series. The wrappers have slight fading around the edges and tape repairs on the inside. The top front flap is clipped. The pages are clean and unmarked. The two-staple binding is in great condition.
