This poster is an attractive visual history of Delta's short inheritance of the Pan Am's Airbus A310-200\300 fleet after Delta purchased the aircraft as part of a large transfer of Pan Am's Atlantic route authorities, which also included Pan Am's LGA\BOS\DCA shuttle operation. The aircraft were operated by Delta between 1991 and 1995 both on transatlantic flights and shorter journeys doing intra-European flights from FRA or domestic flying from JFK. Depicted are the 3 main livery variations worn by these aircraft between the end of service with Pan Am in 1991 and the last days flying with Delta in 1995. In the background are 3 routemaps depicting many of Delta's A310 services (split into Transatlantic, Domestic\Caribbean, and Intra-European) and information about this short-lived rare aircraft type with Delta. A great gift for any avgeek or Delta Air Lines fan or employee, especially as a retirement gift for those who were around Delta in early to mid 1990s after the Pan Am sale.
