Description: This is a restored Coleman Red 200a lantern date stamped 6-66, and a two piece green carrying case. I took the lantern completely apart. I cleaned, refurbished and shined each piece inside and out. I removed the peeling paint on the fount, sanded it smooth then i applied a matching red powdercoat paint. I bake the powder on at 400 degrees. This powdercoat is much stronger and longer lasting than Spray paint. I reasembled the lantern, pressure tested all the fittings, then fired it up. It now starts easily, runs bright and quiet, then shuts down properly. It runs as good or better than new, and the paint will last. The vent has several chips in the enamel, but it functions just fine. It has a pyrex glass globe that was made in Germany. I put a Bail wrap on it to keep the bail from clanging against the fount. This will make either a gorgeous vintage lantern for display or daily use. I will include a new mantle. I will purge all the fuel and pack carefully, so it can be shipped most anywhere.
