Description: A unique collectible for I LOVE LUCY - a reproduction of a complete script. Even reproductions of episodes are hard to come by and this one comes with very rare one of a kind extras. From the final season this episode was one of the last of the Lucy in Connecticut story arc, the episode "Building the BBQ." This is a revised draft dated November 26, 1956 and is a total of 59 pages. It's fascinating to follow along and see how it compares to the final show and the scripts were much more simplistic than they are today. The extras are full color reproductions of rare pages to a "bridge scene." In this era, television was still so new that reruns in prime time were not common. In the show's second season, the production had to work in Lucille Ball's pregnancy. In this example, these are 2 bridge scenes to reintroduce the episodes THE DIET and MEN ARE MESSY. To better capture the vintage nature of the original, select pages as mentioned above have been reproduced in color, which makes some of the aging more distinctive, especially the mimeograph typing of the era.
