Description: Century Optics 5.7mm f1.8 Super Wide Angle II USA Made Stanley Kubrick Used Lens Century Optics legendary glass, made in USA. This is an uncommon lens that’s seldom seen. Used by Kubrick in 16mm this lens pairs perfectly with a Bolex or your BMP rig. Was purchased for a specific shot but never used. Lens is in superb condition with the exception of a small mark to the exterior housing. Optics are in good shape with very minor signs of use. Front element is an 8-9/10 with no major markings, scratches or mold - image clarity is great. Last images show markings to body. Cosmetically it would be in excellent condition if not for the small mark on the exterior housing. Rear element optics are perfect. Lens functions beautifully, ring functions perfectly as well. Comes with rear cap only. Will come with protective case. Very rare opportunity to own a legends lens, made in USA with the worlds best optics. Doesn’t get any wider or faster.
