The seeds were then removed, air-dried, packaged, and ready to be shipped to you for you to grow your own. Carolina Reapers are no joke when it comes to heat. They currently hold the world record in Scoville Heat Units (SHU) at1,641,000 SHU four an average of four batches that were tested. Some were as hot as 2.2 Million SHU.(This is extremely hot, especially when raw) When growing super hot peppers, it is recommended that you use a heating mat to increase germination rates. Also, wear gloves whenever handling the seeds or fruit from these plants. To keep shipping costs low, your order will be mailed through USPS in an envelope. No tracking options will be available.
