Description: For sale is a fine European enameled porcelain portrait dish in a custom frame. The framed picture is 8 3/4 inches square; the inset round dish is 4 ½ inches in diameter. The dish is a low bowl, finely hand painted with a boy in renaissance garb, with a turban, blue coat with white speckled collar and a jeweled necklace. The dish is surrounded with a blue velvet mat and has an antiqued gold frame. It has a cardboard back with a hanger as shown. I have not taken it apart to examine the dish, but there is a chance that has been salvaged from a larger piece of porcelain. Condition on the picture is very good, with just minor fraying of the velvet edge. It is in nice shape and it ready to hang. A fine piece of decorative porcelain!
