Description: 1800s Set of 3 French Onnaing Barbotine/Majolica Asparagus Plates, Ceramic in good antique condition. Gorgeously colorful, classic French Majolica Plates with a well for butter or mayonnaise. These hold a lovely stack of asparagus or make beautiful wall or shelf displays; useable with gentle, individual handwashing. Glossy finish, 2 have heavy crazing common to these, one only lightly crazed, none are chipped. No maker's mark, but the pattern was made pretty much only by Onnaing.
